Ingredients
2 cups 1.5 -2 yellow onions (diced)
1 cup Green bell pepper (diced)
1 cup 2-3 stalks celery (diced)
1.5 tbsp. Sal and Judy’s Creole seasoning
1 lbs. Shrimp peeled and deveined
1/2 ½ stick butter
1/4 cup EVOO
1 Jar Sal and Judy’s Creole Sicilian Sauce
1 cup Shrimp OR Seafood Stock
1 oz. White Wine
1/2 oz. Marukan seasoned rice wine vinegar
Salt as needed
Directions
- Add butter and EVOO to pot and heat till butter melts
- Add onions, bell pepper and celery to pot.
- Start at high heat until vegetables get hot then reduce to low/medium heat; cover and stir occasionally for 25-30 minutes
- Bring heat to high and add wine and vinegar
- Cook on high for 2 minutes with top off
- Add Creole seasoning
- Add shrimp and cook until fully cooked
- Add stock and Creole Sicilian sauce bring to simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes
- 1 cup of shrimp stock (if you don’t make fresh we recommend Bar Harbor seafood stock)
- Serve with pasta or rice
